The Moving Process
Contact us to arrange a visit by our removals estimator to discuss all of your removal needs. We will look at all of your items to be moved and our estimator will be able to advise on any handling or packing concerns that you may have. We will then provide you with a written removal quotation. A moving date can be provisionally booked, but does need to be confirmed as soon as you know the move date. A fully booked move is when you have received a letter of confirmation from us.
Packing Service
If you choose to use our packing service, the team will arrive the day before your move to securely pack and wrap the contents of your home into the appropriate boxes.
The Moving Day
At the confirmed time our removals team will arrive, the team leader will introduce himself and his colleagues and talk you through the move. Everything will be loaded into the removal vehicle(s) and secured by our trained team. The team will then check that everything has been removed from the property before leaving for the new house, office or storage facility. At your new property the team will unload the boxes and furniture into the rooms you have specified.
Your Responsibilities on the Moving Day
You will need to have removed all curtains, fixtures & fittings as applicable, and dismantled any self-assembled furniture as necessary. After that you can relax whilst our removals team take care of the move! You will need to make a final check of the property to confirm everything has been removed.
